TransGuard® Mulitlayer Varistors

KYOCERA AVX TransGuard® Multilayer Varistors provide a wide range of reliable SMT components for bidirectional overvoltage protection with the advantage of EMI/RFI attenuation in the off-state for professional, industrial, and commercial applications. TransGuard MLVs are zinc oxide (ZnO) based ceramic semiconductor devices with non-linear voltage-current characteristics (bi-directional) similar to back-to-back Zener diodes. These KYOCERA AVX MLVs have the added advantage of more significant current and energy handling capabilities, speedy turn-on time, multiple strikes capability, and EMI/RFI attenuation in the off-state.

KYOCERA AVX Commercial TVS+ General Purpose Series Varistors are an ideal solution for circuit protection in professional, industrial, and commercial applications. The varistors offer a wide range of highly reliable components, including low-capacitance varistors for high-speed data lines/RF circuits, as well as high-energy, high-temperature, and harsh environment varistors.
