TAIYO YUDEN Automotive-Grade Products consist of AEC-Q200 qualified and TS-16949 factory-certified multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), inductors, and ferrite beads that withstand the harsh conditions required of automotive applications.  Featuring long lifetimes and low failure rates, these high-reliability components are also suitable for industrial equipment and medical equipment. TAIYO YUDEN uses its own raw materials and advanced technologies for greater control and flexibility on the assembly line.

MAASJ063SD7104KFCA01 High Dielectric Type MLCC

TAIYO YUDEN MAASJ063SD7104KFCA01 High Dielectric Type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) is AEC-Q200 qualified and offers an X7T temperature characteristic. This MLCC features a Cu external electrode and plating structure that contributes to excellent soldering heat resistance. The SMD/SMT device offers 0.1μF ±10% capacitance and 6.3V rated voltage in a 0201/0603 case size (EIA/JIS) that is compliant with RoHS, REACH, and IEC62474 (Ver. D24.00) standards. TAIYO YUDEN MAASJ063SD7104KFCA01 High Dielectric Type is ideal for high-reliability automotive applications such as electronic equipment (powertrain, safety, etc.), general digital circuits, power supply bypass capacitors, and smoothing capacitors.

EIA Automotive Surface-Mount Capacitors

TAIYO YUDEN EIA Automotive Surface-Mount Capacitors feature X7R and X7T configurations and are AEC-Q200 qualified. These MAAS series capacitors are offered in compact 0402 and 0201 package sizes with a voltage range from 6.3V to 100V, a capacitance range from 220pF to 1μF, and a tolerance of 10% or 20%. TAIYO YUDEN EIA Automotive Surface-Mount Capacitors are optimized for automotive use. Additional applications include industrial, medical, and consumer.

Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

TAIYO YUDEN Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are designed utilizing innovative materials and thinning sheet technologies. This material technology enables process control at the particle level, increasing the number of layers needed to realize higher capacity while reducing size. The thickness of each layer in the multilayer ceramic capacitor family is only 0.6μm at the slimmest point, and the number of layers reaches 1000 at maximum. These MLCCs are aimed at high-performance digital devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, TVs, power supplies, general digital circuits, DC/DC converters, AEC-Q200-compliant MLCCs, and automotive applications.

MAAS Automotive Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

TAIYO YUDEN MAAS Automotive Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are AEC-Q200 qualified capacitors with high reliability and RoHS/REACH compliance. These capacitors feature an external electrode and plating structure that contribute to the excellent soldering heat resistance. The MAAS MLCCs operate within a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. Typical applications include automotive powertrain and safety systems, general digital circuits, power supply bypassing capacitors, and smoothing capacitors.
