N24C02Ux CMOS Serial EEPROMs

onsemi N24C02Ux CMOS Serial EEPROMs are 2kB I2C devices organized internally as 16 pages of 16 bytes each. These EEPROMs operate at 1.7V/1.6V to 5.5V supply voltage, provide more than 1,000,000 program/erase cycles, and can address up to eight N24C02Ux devices. The N24C02Ux EEPROMs are lead-free, halogen-free, RoHS compliant, and have Schmitt triggers and noise suppression filters on I2C bus inputs. Features include fast write time (4ms max), hardware write protection, 100-year data retention, and US 8-lead package. Applications include parameters and configuration non-volatile storage, data and code storage, automotive systems, modems/wireless LANs, industrial controls, and printers.

N24Cx I2C Serial EEPROMs

onsemi N24Cx I2C Serial EEPROMs support Standard (100kHz), Fast (400kHz), and Fast-Plus (1MHz) I2C protocols. The data is written by providing a starting address and loading 1 to 16 contiguous bytes into a Page Write Buffer. Then, the data is written into non-volatile memory in one internal write cycle. The data is read by providing a starting address and then shifting out data serially while automatically incrementing the internal address count. With external address pins, it is possible to address up to eight onsemi N24C02, N24C32, or N24C64 devices, four N24C04 devices, two N24C08 or N24C256 devices, and one N24C16 device on the same bus.
