Vicor DCM™ DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package provide leading power density and thermal and electrical performance using DCM technology in a rugged, chassis-mountable package. The VIA packaging technology offers enhanced versatility in converter mounting and cooling. The VIA package simplifies mounting to a chassis or other external heat sinking device and provides improved thermal performance. These Vicor DC-DC converters feature efficiencies up to 93%. This series includes nominal input voltage families of 28V_DC (16 to 50V_IN range), 48V_DC (36 to 75V_IN range), 270V_DC (160 to 420V_IN range), and 300V_DC (180 or 200 to 420V_IN range), with output voltages ranging from 5 to 48V_DC and at power levels up to 600W. DCM DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package are ideally suited for use in a broad range of industrial, process control, automotive, heavy equipment, communications, and defense/aerospace applications.
