TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT Motor Control Developer's Kit

The Texas Instruments TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT High Voltage PFC and Motor Control Developer's Kit provides an easy open source way to evaluate the Piccolo microcontroller (MCU) and TI analog devices in a high voltage environment. A single Piccolo MCU controls the power factor correction (PFC) stage and the motor control stage. The PFC takes a line level AC input (~110 to ~240VAC) and outputs up to 700 watts of power, regulated by closed loop control. The motor driver stage can be driven from either the PFC or from a separate power stage and accepts up to 400V and outputs up to 1 kilowatt of power. The TI TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT also includes support for three brushless motor types, AC induction, permanent magnet synchronous motor, and brushless DC motor. The HVACIMTR ACI Motor Kit, HVPMSMMTR Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Kit, and HVBLDCMTR Brushless DC Motor Kit are motor control kits that support the TI TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT.
