Schaffner FN2211 / FN2210 High Current DC Electromagnetic Current/Electromagnetic Interference (EMC/EMI) Filters are compact, dedicated filters for the latest generation of photovoltaic (PV) inverters. These Schaffner filters help PV applications meet stringent international standards. The filters also help ensure reliable and fault-free operation of the entire PV system. Schaffner FN2211 and FN2210 offer flexible configuration options to fulfill customized application requirements. FN2211 and FN2210 are designed to be installed between the PV inverter and the solar panel. The filters significantly reduce the potential for high-frequency (HF) interference radiation from the panel and help prevent premature panel aging because of HF stray and leakage currents. FN2211 and FN2210 are intended for PV inverter applications between 250 and 2,300A. The filters can also be applied in other DC applications, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), DC motor drives, energy/battery storage systems, and DC charger installations.
