SMT-09 Transducers

PUI Audio SMT-09 Transducers are surface-mount transducers with a 1.9mm thickness and a with a directional resonant frequency of 5200Hz. SMT-09 Transducers are designed for space-limited electronics such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, as well as wearable technology and IoT devices such as Wi-Fi®-enabled thermostats. PUI SMT-0952-T-5V-R features a directional resonant frequency of 5200Hz, making it ideal for location-based tracker alarms to help users find the device based on sound. The SMT-0940-T-3V-R is designed with a lower resonant frequency for multi-tone output while remaining thin. SMT-09 Transducers are piezo-based audio solutions that offer low current consumption, battery-friendly 3mA or 1mA max. The series also allows for a 1-25Vp-p voltage range with easy output scalability.

Presented in a variety of styles, PUI Audio SMT Transducers allow product designers to leverage the power of their own drive circuit or processor to achieve the exact tone, or multiple tones, their design requires, with the ability to vary the sound pressure level (SPL).
