Indoor LED Lighting Circuit Protection

Littelfuse Indoor LED Lighting Circuit Protection ensures a long operating life, increased energy efficiency, and safety. LEDs can be damaged by voltage or current surges, and by extreme temperatures. Littelfuse circuit protection technology protects LED assemblies from potential damage. Important circuit protection technologies include metal-oxide varistors (MOVs), transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes, and fuses.

In-Vehicle Communication Solutions

Littelfuse provides a wide portfolio of fuses, diode arrays, and suppressors suitable for in-vehicle communication applications. The automotive environments are divided into domain architecture and zonal architecture. The domain architecture controls and divides by function, and computation can be performed locally. Zonal architecture environments require a software-based approach, and a central computer is linked to sensors and devices through zonal gateways.

PolySwitch Surface Mount Resettable PTCs

Littelfuse PolySwitch Surface-Mount (SMD) Resettable PTCs provide overcurrent protection for applications where space is at a premium, and resettable protection is desired. The components are reliable and capable of protecting computer and consumer electronics against temporary overcurrent faults. Package size varies from 0402 to 3425, while the current hold ranges from 50mA to 7.0A. The Littelfuse PolySwitch SMD product family is qualified to strict automotive standards (following the AECQ200 specification). As a result, these PTCs are suitable for protecting Electronic Control Units (ECUs) against damage from faults that would otherwise require costly, complete module replacement.

Headlamp Lighting Solutions

Littelfuse Headlamp Lighting Solutions are a family of SMD fuses, TVS diodes and arrays, MLVs, and Schottky diodes that protect against threats to modern automotive headlight systems. Modern automotive headlamp LED systems feature the ability to self-level and swivel as well as shutter high and low beams. Littelfuse headlamp lighting solutions preserve the functionalities of these LEDs by helping prevent load dumps, surges, ESD, and short circuits.

Automotive Application Solutions

Littelfuse offers a wide range of solutions to guard against these modern threats, including resettable PPTCs, MLVs, and diode arrays.

ECU Solutions

Littelfuse ECU Solutions offer a range of protection for the many circuits found in the Electronic Control Units (ECU) of modern automobiles. These ECUs control functions like GPS connectivity, transmission and engine control, and door lock. Littelfuse ECU Solutions include fuses, PPTCs, MOVs, MLVs, ESD suppressors, and more that provide defense against overcurrents and ESD that threaten various vehicular ECUs.

Engine Cooling System Solutions

Littelfuse Engine Cooling System Solutions offer protection against threats to the ability of an engine to cool using the right fluids. Threats to these cooling systems include overheating, load dumps, surges, and ESDs. Littelfuse solutions to these threats include Schottky and TVS diodes, diode arrays, MLVS, SMD PPTCs, and MOVs.

Vehicle Communication Solutions

Littelfuse Vehicle Communication Solutions protects the on-board power and communication circuitry responsible for V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2I (vehicle-to-infrastructure) communication. ESD, surge, and overcurrents threaten these systems' ability to share real-time data (speed, direction, location, etc.) with other vehicles as well as traffic lights and smart roads.
