Kemet Commercial Tantalum Surface Mount Capacitors

Kemet is announcing the removal of the 'S' part number
Suffix as an ordering option for series T49X, T510, T520,
and T530.  All orders must designate either 'T' suffix for
100% tin or 'H' suffix for tin-lead.

Continued use of the 'S' termination provided convenience
during the transition to lead-free processing throughout
the industry.  Well beyond the July 2006 RoHS deadline,
much of the transition has been completed.

Last time purchases with the 'S' suffix will be accepted
through July 15, 2007.

T510 Tantalum Surface-Mount Capacitors

KEMET T510 Tantalum Surface-Mount Capacitors are designed for applications requiring high surge current and high ripple current capability. These multiple anode MnO2 capacitors feature capacitance values of 10μF to 1,000μF and a voltage range of 4VDC to 50VDC. Other features include low ESR, high ripple current capability, excellent capacitance stability, and improved resistance to high in-rush currents. KEMET T510 Tantalum Surface-Mount Capacitors meet or exceed EIA Standard 535BAAC, and AEC-Q200-qualified variants are available. Applications include decoupling and filtering in automotive end applications, such as DC/DC converters, portable electronics, telecommunications, and control units requiring high ripple current capability.
