C4AF Radial AC Filter Film Capacitors

KEMET Electronics C4AF Radial AC Filter Film Capacitors provide higher reliability in harsh environmental conditions with a life expectancy of ≥60,000 hours at VNAC and THS = +85°C. These AEC-Q200-compliant capacitors are suitable for high-frequency filtering (WBG systems). The C4AF series features high ripple current, self-healing abilities, low loss, and optimized AC voltage performance. KEMET Electronics C4AF Radial AC Filter Film Capacitors have a maximum voltage of 500VAC and 1000VDC. Maximum capacitance is 210µF with 5% or 10% capacitance tolerance. These polypropylene metallized film capacitors have a rectangular, plastic box-type design, filled with resin, and two or four tinned wires. Typical applications include clamping, PFC, and AC and harmonic filtering in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, motor drives, renewable energy, and automotive systems.

AC Harmonic Filter Film Capacitors

KEMET AC Harmonic Filter Film Capacitors are self-healing, polypropylene metallized film capacitors that are placed on AC voltage lines to filter them. These capacitors offer high capacitance density, high peak current, and a long lifetime. Typical applications include inverter systems, motor drives, battery chargers, AC and harmonic filtering, clamping/damping systems, and power factor correction (PFC).

AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors

KEMET AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors feature capacitance values ranging from 10pF to 210µF with 2% to 20% tolerances. These automotive-qualified capacitors offer a low ESR (1.4mΩ to 1kΩ ESR range), resulting in a high ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. The components also exhibit high 30VAC to 700VAC / 50VDC to 2kVDC voltage ratings.

C4A Radial Film Caps for High-Power Applications

KEMET C4A Radial Film Capacitors for High-Power Applications offer low ESR, resulting in a much higher ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. These products come in two styles: a polypropylene metallized film capacitor, a polypropylene metallized film, and a polyester double-metalized foil capacitor. Both versions have a rectangular, plastic box-type design, filled with resin, and use 2 or 4 tinned wires. KEMET C4A Radial Film Capacitors with high voltage ratings are ideal for DC-Link and high-power applications. Capacitors with a combination of low ESR, efficient CV, and high voltage rating are useful for energy storage and EMI filtering.

KEMET Medium/High Power Polypropylene Capacitors include the following series: C20A, C4AE, C4AF, C4AS, C4AT, C4AQ, C4BS, C4BT, C4C, C4DC, C4DE, C4DR. C4G, C44A, C44B, C44H, C44P, and C44U.
