CY4533 EZ-PD™ BCR Evaluation Kit

Infineon Technologies CY4533 EZ-PD™ BCR Evaluation Kit is an evaluation platform for replacing a barrel/power input connector with a USB Type-C™ connector. The Infineon Technologies CY4533 enables the system to be powered by any USB Type-C-compliant adapter. The Infineon CYPD3177 EZ-PD BCR device (included in the CY4533 EVK) is suitable for USB Type-C sinks or USB Type-C chargers delivering 5V (up to 3A) or USB Type-C chargers with USB-PD support at 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V. The CY4533 EZ-PD BCR kit has pre-programmed firmware, as detailed in the CYPD3177 device datasheet. The CYPD3177 device supports the USB-PD (Power Delivery) protocol.
