MF-PSML/X PPTC Resettable Fuses

Bourns MF-PSML/X Low Resistance PPTC Resettable Fuses utilize Bourns' freeXpansion™ design that increases performance with higher hold current and maximum voltage ratings, improved resistance stability, and smaller footprints. The PTC resettable fuses feature hold current ratings from 0.75A to 3.0A at the 12V maximum rated voltage and even higher hold current ratings from 3.5A to 4.5A at 8V maximum rated voltage. Low-resistance conductive materials used in the series enable post-trip resistance values as low as 0.012Ω and initial resistance values as low as 0.001Ω. The low resistance values help boost the current carrying capability of the devices, and MF-PSML450/8-2 offers a 4.5A hold current rating at 8VDC in a small 0805 package. Bourns MF-PSML/X is ideal for USB port protection, Li-ion battery packs, motherboards, and portable consumer electronic I/O port protection.
